The HSBC Puchong Branch has been supporting our centre over the last two years bringing Christmas joy to our trainees, staff and volunteers. For this year's merry-making, they organized some interesting games for our trainees. The staff then fellowship with all of us over a sumptuous dinner treat that evening.
We are very grateful to the staff of HSBC Puchong branch for their kind gesture; we are most touched by their spirit of sharing.

Our trainees work diligently at the Sheltered Workshop every working day to earn their living. They deserve a break when the year draws to an end.
So on the last day of the year 2008, they packed up their work tools just before lunch and geared for an afternoon of merry-making and letting go!
When you work, work! When you play, play! Our trainees not only understood this simple principle but acted on it whole-heartedly.
The staff Yusnira, Eng Mei Ling and some volunteers led them through games and songs and dances.
Yes, let's dance and share our happiness to draw a close to a year's good work. Tomorrow is the New Year, another beginning for all of us.
Facing difficulties in securing new contract jobs from the open market, PERKOBP felt the need to embark on self-generating vocations to keep some of its trainees meaningfully occupied during their time at the centre.
Thanks to United Parcel Service (UPS) Foundation, PERKOBP is able to launch its latest vocational project – making paper from recycled paper! UPS agreed to fund the whole project – from the purchase of all the equipment and accessories required for this project to setting up the paper making section!
The cheque presentation ceremony was made more memorable for all of us with the presence of Mr Andy Connelly, Senior VP, South District USP Asia Pacific who graced the event.
